Knxia will be hosting SCPLH and SCPLH (Refresher) qualifications in Aberdeen on Monday 27 October 2025.
The Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders at SCQF Level 6 qualification is required by individuals involved in the sale of alcohol on an on-sale or off-sale basis in Scotland who wish to apply to a local licensing board for a Personal Licence.
And the SCPLH (Refresher qualification must be completed by personal licence holders within the first five years of being granted their personal licence and must notify the relevant licensing board within five years and three months.
Personal licence holders must also complete a further SCPLH (Refresher) qualification to renew their personal licence towards the end of the ten year validity period.
SCPLH course runs from 9am until 5pm and SCPLH (Refresher) between 9am and 1pm.
The course fee includes:
- tuition by an experienced and qualified trainer
- candidate registration with our awarding body
- examination
- certification
Both courses end with a 40-question multiple choice exam and 28 correct answers are required to pass.
