Mental Health Qualifications
It is estimated that 1 in 4 individuals are likely to experience mental ill-health at some point in their lives and that around 300,000 people with long-term mental health health problems lose their jobs each year – this is much higher than those with physical conditions,
15% of people at work have symptoms of an existing mental health condition.
The cost of poor mental health to the economy and the NHS combined is estimated to be between £74 billion and £99 billion each year.
Knxia’s range of mental health training courses can help individuals raise their awareness of mental heath, to provide first aiders for mental health to identify when someone may be experiencing a crisis and have the skills and confidence to offer appropriate support, and for managers to be aware of mental ill-health conditions and the impact this can have on their teams.
