The Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
Who is it for?
This qualification is ideal for learners wishing to gain the knowledge and skills required to administer effective emergency paediatric first aid.

The course will run in Edinburgh on the dates shown above. Places are limited on each course.
How long will it take?
The course runs from 9am to 5pm.
What is covered?
Topics include assessing an emergency situation; managing an unresponsive casualty who is or is not breathing normally; choking; dealing with external bleeding; bites, stings and minor injuries; and using an automatic external defibrillator.
How is it assessed?
There are both practical and theoretical elements to the assessment – learners must demonstrate the practical first aid skills and must answer a series of questions.
How much does it cost?
The course costs £80 + VAT per person. This includes tuition, training materials, a full colour first aid manual. candidate registration with our Awarding Body, assessment and certification.
